Tree Talk

The trees speak in words before words. In frequencies too slow for us to discern. Information may travel at light speed, but meaning spreads at the speed of a tree. They fall with spectacular crashes. But planting is silent and growth is invisible. We cannot see what we don’t understand, and what we think we understand, we fail to notice.
